Day 139

Earlier this year Kyle and I had discussed seeing Doug Benson, a lovable stoner comedian who has appeared on Best Week Ever and Last Comic Standing, and recently made a movie called Super High Me. We didn't go because it was kind of expensive and the show was out in the stupid suburbs.

I've been a fan of him for years and I think he's utterly hilarious, so when I learned he was playing a show at the Lakeshore Theater (not in the suburbs!), I immediately bought tickets. Since the ticket was one of Kyle's Christmas presents, I tried to keep it a secret, but he had it figured out early on.

Tonight was the show and holy lord, I want to see him again as soon as possible!!! Kyle was very pleased with his early Christmas gift.


Because I'm a thoughtful person, I decided to put up a video of some of his stand-up for your viewing pleasure. He had to be very censored on Last Comic Standing, so I thought his material was much better live.
